This 46ft creation of Colin Furze, from Stamford in Lincolnshire, took too months to create and has entered the Guinness Book of Records for building the world’s longest motorbike.
It is built from two Honda Sky 50cc mopeds, which he extended with pieces of aluminium, and can travel up to 30mph – presumably when there is not a crosswind. He already owned one moped and bought the other off ebay.
The record breaking motorbike measures 14.03 metres and beats the previous record of 9.6 metres.
To achieve the record the motorbike had to be driven 100 metres which he did on an airfield.
Colin says it is heavy and difficult to handle plus steering is a bit of a problem (No Sh*t Sherlock) and it has a small turning circle.
He is now building an even longer motorbike, which he hopes will be almost double the length.
Here’s a couple of videos of the motorbike being built and also being ridden:
Being ridden for the Guinness World Record: (there is a laugh out loud moment at the end)
