After basking in sunshine for most of last week and enjoying near perfect conditions during the qualifying sessions, as often happens in the Isle of Man, the rain has arrived.

A decision was taken early Saturday morning to postpone racing for the weekend, with the Superbike and Sidecar races now scheduled to take place on Monday 8th June.

However, the ITV4 schedule seems to be unchanged and as a result we are getting to see more glimpses of the practice sessions and behind the scenes footage. Last night we got to see current leader of the 125 Moto GP, Bradley Smith, take a trip around the TT course with one-time competitor Milky Quale. Bradley admits that he can’t see himself competing at the Island but is happy to go over and do parade laps and generally support the event.

This year footage also includes a selection of on bike and on helmet cameras which gives a unique riders eye view of the circuit.

Having been to the TT twice before it also makes me want to get back there again very soon…maybe next year.
