Total the French petrol company have opened, on a six months trial, a motorbike friendly petrol station at 44 avenue de Paris at l’Isle Adam (North of Paris – department 95), with petrol pumps specifically for motorcycles.Click Here for map

It features:

• Anti-slip floor
• Shorter nozzles for added visibility when re-fuelling
• Helmet and windscreen cleaners
• Hook to hang helmet
• Pay at pump feature, so no need to park up and queue to pay

In addition there is a special cleaning area just for motorcycles. This features a smaller cleaning cabin with an adapted pressure cleaning system and a waterproof area for storage of your helmet, gloves, wallet etc.

After the six months if the trial is successful they will expand the service to other petrol stations.

It seems that some companies are realising the profit potential in providing services for motorcyclists and long may it continue I say.
