We have today received advance notice of this years Royal Enfield open weekend.
This year it is on the weekend of the 19th and 20th June and is in a picturesque location a short ride from Moreton-on-Marsh.
Usual highlights of this great little show remain the same for another year (why change a formula that works?):
- Free entry
- Test rides on UK only models e.g. the Clubman cafe racer and Woodsman street scrambler
- The now-famous Sea Scouts’ food tent will be serving excellent value freshly cooked food with an Asian flavour
- An opportunity to browse the sidecar workshops
- Spare parts counter and a display of Royal Enfield branded casual clothing and accessories
- Respected journalist and author Jim Reynolds returns as master of ceremonies, providing a running commentary along with technical talks and celebrity interviews
And if all that isn’t enough to whet your appetite then this year there will be the added attraction of the Wychwood Brewery (famous for their Hobgoblin ale) will be bringing their 1952 Bedford dray to add ‘period flavour’ (although we’re told all beer will be for consumption after the event has finished!)
