Welcome back!
Did you know that National Motorcycle Week is 12th – 18th July 2009?

With Ride To Work Day on Wednesday 15th July?
The aims of the week are to highlight the environmental and social benefits of motorcycling and convince non motorcyclists what we already know, that motorycling means more:
- More freedom
- More fun
- More friends
- More convenience
- More skills
In 2009, the MCI, who promotes the event, has adopted the strapline “Get More Out of Life” to get riders and non-riders thinking about the world of motorcycling and encouraging them to get active in promoting the wonderful world of motorcycling to non motorcyclists.
This year the MCI hopes to encourage riders to do more with their bikes and their riding skills and persuade non-riders, who have been teetering on getting a licence to actually do it.
If you want to organise an activity during the week to demonstrate to the public, press and politicians the number of people that enjoy riding motorcycles and scooters and why, you can download a free organiser’s pack and posters from the MCIA website by clicking here .
If you let the MCIA know that you are planning an event they will help to promote it and put journalists in contact with you.
There will be more news on this which we cannot release until Monday 29th June.
