I drove a rented car across England from Warminster to Dover in a couple of hours! In America it takes 31/2 days to ride across the US. and thats pushing it. Thats why are bikes are slow handling and heavy! Have you ever tried 10 to 15 hours of riding on a lightwieght bike, it's hard on the body. Harley's are good at what they were designed to do.
