Up until the end of September 2009 Ebike are offering free classic bike insurance to new customers who take out a standard motorcycle policy.

Now, this could be quite a saving.

Quite a few people of our acquaintance have a classic bike lurking in their shed and I am sure they would like to get it insured for nowt.

You need to click through to their site – click here – and check out the terms and conditions, from what I can see there is nothing untoward:

• Your classic motorcycle needs to be more than 20 years old
• You must be aged between 25 and 69
• You must have held a full license for more than 2 years

Once you have taken out a standard policy Ebike will send you an e-voucher to be used against the full value of your classic policy (no limits on the amount) and this voucher does not expire for twelve months from the date of issue, so it could potentially last until 30th September 2010.

Seems like a good deal to me.
